I Couldn't Run Faster Than Time

I always knew it would be hard..

But this hard I had no clue!

I took you close for who you are..

And from my heart I say, it's true!

So much for me everyday, everytime,

No one else would do what  you've done!

And look at me, I underestimated 'the time'..

And thought that faster than time I can run!

There still was the stupid mind that wanted to be heard..

But I was too deaf, and look what I have done!

Now, of tears there is a dearth..

But to make me light, I want more of it to come!

Cause the lines you sing linger in my mind..

No matter when, where or what I have to be!

I've Been a fool, I've messed up with you..

I should have known there isn't a safe place for me!

There is no safe place for me..

There can't be a safe place for me...

And look at me,

I was trying to run faster than time!
